Going global with ANNA: introducing currency accounts

First things first – do you only need an IBAN?

If you do business overseas but don’t need to hold foreign currencies, you can still get an IBAN to receive international payments. In this case, payments will automatically be converted into GBP to keep everything simple and tidy. We accept payments in GBP, EUR, USD, and CHF.

To get an IBAN, just type “Get IBAN” in chat.

ANNA customers can now open currency accounts in US dollars (USD), Euros (EUR), and Swiss francs (CHF). With these accounts, you can hold funds, and make and receive payments in each currency. You can also convert between currencies from 9-5.

You’re free to open one, two, or all three currency accounts. So if most of your suppliers are in the US, a USD account might be all you need. If you trade internationally, having all three could make life much easier.

When you open a foreign currency account, you’ll also get an IBAN (International Bank Account Number) to share with suppliers. Any money you’re paid using this IBAN will automatically go into the appropriate currency account – so if you have a USD account and a EUR account, dollar payments will go into the dollar account and Euro payments will go into the Euro account, even though they use the same IBAN.

The good news? Currency accounts are free for ANNA business account customers.
