ANNA Wins Accounting Tech of the Year

We’ve got some big news… 🏆

We’re over the moon to announce that we’ve won the award for Accounting Tech of the Year at the UK FinTech Awards, one of the UK’s leading events celebrating innovation across the fintech industry.

In such a competitive category, it was a real honor to be recognised as the market leader in Accounting Tech, especially with these lovely words: "Building on an established legacy, ANNA continues to set the standard within the space". Woo-hoo!

Why it matters

This isn’t just any category for us – it’s the category.

Our co-founders Boris and Eduard saw that for many sole traders, accounting was one of the most time-consuming (and least enjoyable) parts of the job – often manual, confusing and easy to get wrong.

So they built ANNA to take the pain out of business admin. Our AI-powered Auto Accountant now handles the financial side of running a business automatically in the background, running 24/7 as an ‘always on’ accounting assistant. From sorting expenses to helping with tax and day-to-day bookkeeping, it saves business owners money, time and stress, and frees them to focus on what actually matters – their business.

"It’s what we set out to do when we founded ANNA – build tech that makes financial admin easier for small business owners, so to be recognised as being the best at what we do really is massive and momentous for us. We’re incredibly proud of this moment, but we’re not stopping here.

It is our aim to keep improving, building and finding new ways to help our customers remain focussed on what’s important, while we do everything else in the background.
