Business Tools T&Cs Outline
- 2.1 You can sign up to ANNA Business Tools for free via https://anna.money/plus-taxes. As an ANNA business account customer you will be able to access ANNA Business Tools with your ANNA business account credentials and access certain features of Business Tools via the ANNA business account mobile app.
- 2.2 Certain features of ANNA Business Tools are free to use for both, Business Account users and Business Tool users. In addition to the free features ANNA offers Premium Plans which allow users to use additional features in Business Tools.
- 2.3 A Free Trial and/or Promo Period may be available for Premium Plans.
- 3.1 Current pricing and features of the available Business Tool premium plans can be obtained at https://anna.money/pricing/business-tools/. Both Business Tool Users and Business Account Users can sign up to a Premium Plan.
- 3.2 A Free Trial may be available for a Premium Plan, the length of the trial may vary depending on the plan selected. We may discontinue free trials at any time and without notice. We may also remove any features during the Free Trial period without any notice to the user.
- 3.3 The subscription cost, length and billing periods may be changed in the future. You will be given reasonable notice and an opportunity to end your subscription before any changes apply.
- 3.4 The subscription cost, length and billing period may be different for Business Account Users and Business Tools Users.
- 3.5 Where applicable, Free Trials are automatically rolled over into a paying subscription. You may cancel your trial at any time to avoid being charged at the end of the trial period.
- 3.6 We reserve the right to discontinue any features in Business Tools, paid or free, giving reasonable notice to you.
- 3.7 You are entirely responsible for the accuracy of your bookkeeping, collecting and storing relevant documents as prescribed by HMRC and the accurate description of expenses and income. You may use the features provided by ANNA to fulfil these obligations, but we do not guarantee that using these features will result in accurate accounts.
- 3.8 Where applicable, on relevant Premium plans, the ANNA App generates Annual Accounts and Corporation Tax Returns for you, using the information provided by you through the ANNA App. The user is able to submit these to the relevant authorities via ANNA App. ANNA is facilitating the submission by the user in these instances but is not acting on behalf of the user. Submission of Corporation Tax return and Annual accounts are the responsibility of the user.
- Corporation Tax return calculations are provided to you according to the Filing Timeline shown in the ANNA App.
- Year end Corporation Tax return calculations are only provided if you adhere to the Filing Timeline and provide all requested information within the given time frame, this is including but not limited to
- A Bookkeeping Score of 100%
- Completion of the Filing Questionnaire
- Any follow up information requested by our Tax Experts
- Complete transaction data for all business related transactions, provided through an Open Banking connection
- To be eligible for year end Corporation Tax Return calculations you are also required to,
- Use the ANNA App for your payroll, if applicable
- Use the ANNA App’s Automated VAT Calculation Tool for VAT return submissions
- Be subscribed to an eligible Premium Plan for at least 3 months before the end of the financial year of the Limited company you want to file Corporation Tax return for using our software
- You won’t be able to resubmit Corporation Tax and Annual Accounts previously submitted. E.g. you won’t be able to submit a correction of accounts through ANNA.
- You won’t be able to use this service during the trial or promo period of the subscription
- 3.9 Where applicable, on relevant Premium plans, the ANNA App generates VAT return using the information provided by you. You may use the XLS filing or Automated VAT calculation tool to submit your VAT return to HMRC. In both cases it is your responsibility to ensure that the data is accurate and in accordance with the VAT return preparation guidelines provided by the authorities. To obtain accurate VAT return calculations you acknowledge that
- You will need to ensure your transactions are categorised correctly
- Any transactions not recorded in the ANNA App (via the ANNA business account or open banking connection) need to be added manually
- VAT amounts are automatically extracted from uploaded receipts that were successfully matched to a transaction. Where no receipt was attached to a transaction, the VAT amount needs to be added manually
- Extraction of VAT amounts from receipts are not guaranteed to be correct
- You are unable to make changes to submitted VAT returns, any omission of VAT needs to be submitted as an adjustment in your next VAT return
- It is your responsibility to ensure that you file your VAT ahead of time before the deadline to avoid penalties. Delays to file may occur due to issues with our software and therefore you should file your returns leaving time for any unforeseen issues to be resolved.
- 3.10 Where applicable, it is your responsibility to settle any outstanding tax obligations with the relevant authorities.
- 3.11 We reserve the right to refuse service should you not provide the required level of documentation and/or bookkeeping required to generate Annual Accounts and a Corporation Tax Return for your company. In circumstances where we will be unable to provide the service as promised, despite you providing all required information, we will give you reasonable notice to arrange for an alternative service and you will be given a full refund of the subscription fees only. No compensation will be paid to you.
- 3.12 We also reserve the right to refuse service or supply of a specific Premium Plan based on your company structure, type or size. In such cases we are not obliged to provide detailed information to you regarding our reasons to refuse service.
- 3.13 In an effort to assist you in choosing the most efficient accounting format and apply specific tax schemes to your business accounts, Business Tools may provide you with insights and calculations to assess various options available. These calculations are based on historic data and/or user input and you acknowledge that 1. historical data is no indicator for future performance and 2. You are solely responsible for the inputs provided and therefore, the resulting calculations. The calculations and estimations provided do not constitute advice but are for illustrative purposes with the goal to provide you with a better understanding of the options available to you, where the final decision to apply any of the suggested schemes or strategies is your responsibility. If you do not feel confident in making these decisions based on the information provided by our tools, you should seek professional advice.
- 4.1 Any information or data provided to you by ANNA, its employees or by another means, associated with your use of the Account and any ANNA Business Tools Account services, shall not be construed as advice in any way, shape or form. You shall make your own judgement on the suitability of any information or data provided to you or generated via the use of the ANNA Business Tools Account services. You may submit any Corporation Tax Application to us for onward submission by us to the relevant authorities through our systems, providing you have obtained your own financial, tax and regulatory advice in respect of it. No representative of ANNA shall be liable for any information provided during the course of Tax Expert support services.
- 4.2 We do not provide any guarantee regarding the accuracy of our product, calculations and automation processes with regard to tax calculations. The user should make reasonable efforts to ensure inputs, calculations and categorisations applied are accurate.
- 4.3 We are not liable for any fines received as a result of late submission of tax filings with the authorities, even if the delay is due to a fault in our software. You acknowledge that our software relies on integration with third party services, such as HMRC and Companies House and that we cannot foresee or control issues with the integration services provided by third parties. It is your responsibility to ensure the preparation and review of your filings happens with a reasonable timeline that allows for potential unforeseen issues.
